- I have a 1st class pass, why are my seat/couchette/sleeper reservations in 2nd class?
Some countries/trains are designated as 2nd class and it is not possible to get 1st class seats on night trains, in T6 couchettes, in triple sleepers and some double sleepers. It does not lessen the quality of the trains. It is only a designation in some countries and on some routes.
- close- If I place my order today when will it ship?
Any non-reservation/ticket request order received Monday-Friday before 3 pm ET will ship the same day.
- close- I did not end up going on my trip. How do I get a refund and what is the penalty?
There is usually a 15% cancellation penalty on all refunds. The return address is on the receipt of purchase. If you have lost the receipt then the address if you bought from us is:
Please send your ticket back to us in a secure way (e.g. with signature required). Tickets are like cash and if lost, they are non-refundable.
- close- What is the difference between 1st class and 2nd class?
"The difference between first class and second class is that in first class, there is more space and seats are more comfortable. Sometimes, a meal is served in first class.
If you buy a first class pass, you can also travel in second class. If you buy second class, you will not be able to travel in first class without paying an upgrade fee for that segment."
- close- We are two travelers- one of us is 26 and the other is 25. Can we both get the youth pass? If not, what are our options?
"Unfortunately you have to be under 26 on the first day of trave in order to be eligible for the Youth Pass. If some travelers over 26 and some under 26, these are the options:
1. You both buy a Saver Pass. With this Pass both of you will get a discount of 15% on the full fare price, and you both will be able to travel in first class.
2. The person over 26 buys the Adult Pass. The person under 26 buys the Youth Pass and gets a 35% discount on the first class fare. Since the Youth Pass is valid in second class only, both will need to travel in second class (first class passes are valid in second class).
Since the price difference between both options is not too large, we would suggest that you compare total costs and then decide whether you would prefer 1st or 2nd class.
"

- close- If I have a problem with my payment what should I do?
If there is a problem with your order and payment does not go through straight away please email or call us. Please do not place a duplicate order as this may result in payment being taken twice.
- close- Is there a cost to use this service?
